Whenever I have to learn a new kanji, I go through the stroke order some 4-5 times for the kanji alone, then start using it in compounds. It's worked for me p until now, at least.
How do Japanese students in school learn these kanjis? Do they learn the radicals at an early stage and learn the kanjis' radical composition and radical order, og do they learn the stroke order directly, like I do?
Answers/thoughts are appreciated.
