We are looking for reasonable priced hotels and/ryokan in Hakone & Fukuoka, anyone any suggestions ?

I stayed at the Hotel Sanroute Hakata in Fukuoka last April. It is 8,000 yen per night for a single. Which, at that time, was $68.01 per night. It is right next to Hakata Station, that I found very convenient. Very nice rooms. I went through Rakuten Travel (¡Ú³ÚÅ·¥È¥é¥Ù¥ë¡ÛÁí¹çι¹ÔͽÌó¥µ¥¤¥È ½ÉÇñͽÌó ¥Ó¥¸¥Í¥¹¡¦³¤³°¥Û¥Æ¥ëͽÌó ²¹Àôι´Û ¥ì¥ó¥¿¥«¡¼ ¹Ò¶õ·ô ´Ñ¸÷ ¥ì¥¸¥ã¡¼).

I stayed in a capsule hotel in the entertainment district of Tainjin, on some backstreet. Its close to a western-style bar thats popular. Its called Green Cell Capsule or something? Ask at the JR Fukuoka/Hakata Tourist Information Centre, as they will be cheaper than biz hotels for one person, not so if you are sharing rooms. Great for singles
