hmmm,Love Hotels, exactly who cleans up after you did the do? and how the heck is anyone comfortable having sex in a room(sleeping overnight) a lot of people been in, is it that clean? especially the beds!!??? I obviously need to check it out becuase my ignorance is here, i mean after someone uses the room, you go in next?! which means their mess is still there?!
im confused as crap......
Man...the way people think...is it a natural thickness...or is it brainwashing?
Okay, sex. We might expect certain bodily fluids more than non-sexual times...but...any bodily fluids when not having sex? Yep. Lots. Picture any old hotel room. Some guy stays there all alone. Sneezing. Sneezing his guts out. Peeing...and missing the toilet. Getting drunk...until he throws up on the floor. Scratching his bum and turning on the light switch... etc. etc. You really think all that and more has not happened? How about solo sex, both male and female? Yeah, I am sure that happens at the Waldorf Astoria too!
And just how well is your typical hotel cleaned up after all that? I saw a maid who was filmed secretly...first she wiped down the toilet ...then she wiped the counter and sink...AFTER....with the same cloth!
But love hotels? Well there is that stigma, silly as it is if you actually THINK, so I bet they go that extra mile. And we are talking about Japan here, and YES, the Japanese are not all the same, but YES they do tend to be neat and really CLEAN when its their job and not slack off.
Regardless, you know who is less likely to enter a love hotel? Some coughing, SARS ridden, diseased individual. Why? Cause WHO would go with them to a love hotel? Also, its probably rarer for a woman on her period to enter one. Think about that for a second.
Yeah, I have seen some real dives..old, dirty, dingy, and reeking of cigarette smoke...but those were the exceptions. The overwhelming majority of love hotels I have been at were new seeming at least, clean, bright, spacious, classy decor and CHEAP by all but the hostel standard, but extremely cheap when you considered all the value you got...privacy, music, TV, movies, a fridge, a big bed, a big bath...hell, Japanese love hotels beat most of the regular hotels I have stayed at with only one problem...and that is the fact that if you check in early, then it will cost a lot. Check in about ten though, and it rivals any other hotel, sometimes cheaper, but with checkout time late in the morning.
But I tell you what...all you sex negative prudes out there are welcome to avoid them, and pretend its so much cleaner and nobler at your business or luxury hotel...as if you have any idea if anyone died in that room, or from what.
So for travelers it might be a nice change to try this instead of the standard hotels as well.
Heck yeah! I have used them on many a road trip! No need for a credit card or a reservation! Also many hotels in Japan have some really stupid rules, like you have to check in before 8 cause they just lock the door after that! As if you could not possibly want to enjoy the night life!
And if you were late getting to the hotel, forget it! You are on your own!
