I am currently researching the descendants of Tōkurō Keigi in Sendai and have come across some titles held by one or another of them. Is there a standard English translation for banshi? What is hiroma no banshi ?

Possible to send through the kanji for any of those names/words? I'm looking around for things on Japanese websites, but I'm getting no hits. Nothing for Tokuro Keigi/Sendai or hiroma no banshi. Hiroma no banshi, at first glance, looks like it would probably be 広間の番子, so maybe something like Chamber Guard or some such, but it would help to know the kanji.

There is a list of official positions and their titles in the Date domain, available as PDF file. I saved it but something went wrong in the process and now I cannot find it on internet. Anyone know where it is?

Also there has been recent research on Abe clan in Tohoku around demise of Kasai domain and time of Date Masamune. A couple of years ago finding that what have been regarded as several different Abe men of that time were really one and the same person, going under different names. Can anyone identify publications?
