oh, is the lead singer from x-japan dead is he? 5 years ago you say? jeez, that probably explains why x-japan sounds like dated 80s metal to me. well you learn something new everyday

X Japan disbanded in 1997. members: Toshi , Vocals - Yoshiki, Drums, Piano - hide, Guitar - Pata, Guitar - Taiji, Bass [1980-1992], Heath, Bass [1992 -1997].

hide had a solo career during and after X Japan. Fronted 2 bands at the same time before his death; Spread Beaver and Zilch.

I'd recommend his albums Ja,Zoo and hide your face.

but i think no one loves j-pop don't know x japan.
i'm not quite familiar with them, but i listened some of their songs, that's brilliant.
it's quite a pity they disbanded.

oh i was being serious. im just a little slow - the first x-japan song i heard must have been only 2 weeks ago.
 
I'm confused..by Hide do you mean Hyde??...or is this a totally different person?? :?

em... i nver know dat there're still some ppl who like jrock but dunno who's hide. overall, i still love X. cos i like Yoshiki, Pata, Taiji, hide and Toshi. miss their performances...

I know about X-Japan when it was already disbanded ( I was 10 in 1997) ... and then he died ... it made me so saaaaaadd
