I've known of Hide for quite some time now, i just haven't gotten into X Japan and his solo music until lately (i don't know why, the're amazing after all)
Even before I got into X Japan I had alot of respect for them, mainly Hide and Yoshiki. Afterall, their legends
I can't get through "Forever Love" without feeling upset and sometimes crying. Hide was always so happy, he shouldn't have had to go yet...
I'm deffinately going to visit the Hide Museum once I finally make it to Japan.
 
I'm the same. I usualy refuse to listen to Forever Love as it will make me cry.

I'm not sure the museum is still open, I can never work out whats going on. Some people say it's closed yet there are petitions to "keep it open" - this implies its not yet closed.

Does any one actually know?
 
I dont know too,,, but sometimes I hear the museum is open when hide's birthday day coz my friend coming at the museum.
 
That would make sense, but it seems strange that they would bother to keep it just to open one day a year, or possibly two if they do the anniversary of his death too.

i thought that they had closed down the museum...and i agree that it is strange that they would only two or one day(s) a year....
 
I was in Cologne Germany yesterday and they actually have special J-rock magazines and I almost screamed when I came across an article of hide in it

two full pages with photo's and a little story, bad thing is though in one of the xjapan photos they tried to make Hide stand out but by that yoshiki is out of the photo and hide is in it twice XD not so smart of them ...

I will try to scan it tomorrow if anyone is interrested

Yeah I heard that too, as far as I know (which is not much) they closed down the museum some years ago, no quite sure when. I felt sad I was hoping I could go when I visit Japan, guess that wont be possible anymore

Anyways hide-sama's birthday is pretty soon, I'm proud to say the same day as mine Dic. 13th so I was actually thinking about making something special...but I dont know what LOL any ideas???

An btw I was looking through Yoshiki's myspace and came across this pic which (in my very own opinion) is pretty cute and nice!

I love Yoshiki... that pictures sooo sweet.

Not sure what I'll be doing on hide's birthday... sadly I don't think I can do much. It'll be the day before I leave uni to come home for Christmas... so will probably be spent either doing my essay or packing -_- ... well alongside TKD training.

I never did get a hide plushie... fairly long story about why that particular life plan never came off.
 
It is the magazine called "peach" I think you can get it in about every bookstore that holds magazines, I got mine at the trainstation.

Too bad you never got your plushie, I'm sure you will have one one day.
 
Yeah I still plan to get one... and go on a crazy road trip with it... actually it would probably just live in my car!

Thanks for the info, I'll look out for that magazine when I'm in Germany. German magazine are so much better than UK one... they have far more Jrock in them!
 
that picture seriously made my day *.*!! And I guess I'm also in the group of people dying to get a hide plushie <3...But I'm so broke!..I would really love to have it right now ...just one hour left to december 13th! (at least in my country xD)
