Gazerocks Yeah... before dad lived here he was in Singapore... I've been there many times. We're gona go to drive down to Sing at Christmas time... apparently the lights are spectacular on Orchard Road.

And trust me... when you've had 18 English Christmases (has mental block on how to pluralise that word!) they slightly lose their appeal... seriously even the decorations they put up in the streets are identical every year!

I can't listen to hide when studiny... if I do I get distracted and end up either jumping round the room... or just listening and doin no work what so ever!
 
@CharismaticDeath: Yeah. Singapore celebrates Christmas! The lightings at Orchard Road changes every year and there're usually contests between shopping malls to see who has the nicest decorations. Sometimes, malls install foam machines outside so that 'snow' is created in the air. There's lots of sales during Christmas too!

I listen to hide when doing math. Can't concentrate too if it were other subjects like Econs. What I read wouldn't be processed. hide is too rock-addictive! hehe

RevengeBabyYeah ... sounds like my AS levels (I can't remember exact grades)... I resat two of them... and did worse in both of them!! I dropped one of the subjects after that... I get decent grades in the end though! At least you got one A... and the C's you should be able to get up easy enough... I hates AS levels... they are the most pointless thing ever... They should definately find a better way of doin it!

Gazerocks Singapore sounds fun!! And sales... Yays!!! ^_^ ... I'm just gona go crazy there!

There's seriously nothing much to do in Singapore except to eat and shop. Or getting sun-burned. Singapore's too small...hahas. In the UK, how many times can students sit for the A's per year? We can only have our As once a year.

Aww wants to see pictures!

I know... I found Singapore quite boring when we were there... but after leavin it for 3... or is it 4 now... years... I kinda miss it in a way! At least you can walk around feeling safe... I'm not allowed out on my own here... far too many incidents recently of people being attacked and mugged... and people we actually know not just random people in the news... kinda brings it closer to home.
I think I managed to aviod the sunburn in Singapore... not sure how because I'm really pale! Got absolutly fryed in Thailand though! ... Me and my friend didn't leave the room for about three days!!

I'm not sure how many times you can sit A levles per year... I think it's twice... once for the normal time and then one resit... you can resit as many years as you like but apparently they tell the unis how many resits it took you... and you have to pay for them which gets quite expensive after a while. Some people I know resat a whole year.
 
IcIc...For Singaporeans. If we were to resit, we have to take all the subjects and it's only once a year. Kinda waste of a time...but without that cert, there's nth much one can do....

Yupp. There's this playful side of him, I esp like it when he sticks out his tongue. Cute! But he's also very serious and cool when it comes to work. His PV are timeless too....esp like Pink Spider and Rocket Dive. 2 Thumbs up!

The mixture of playfulness and seriousness is what makes his music so brillient and unique... also gives the edge to his live performances...

@GuitarAddict: I've no idea too. I just came across this pic. It's hard to find his pics looking like that. Most of them are from his more VK days in X. That is the only one I have.

Hide....tribute Concert

i have a question for everyone.....

i heard that there was going to be a Concert in memory of Hide next year and Yoshiki was getting some people.... like ex members X-Japan...???

is this true and if it's true that's fine with me.,....souka:
 
Yeah theres going to be a reunion, great huh? Who do you guys think they'll use as guitarist(s)?
 
Apparently quite a lot of people!

I think there will definately be a show in Japan and possibly LA... I think they're goin to make a tour of this. ::fingers crossed for Europe!::... although I'd probably spend the entire gig in tears.
 
Ah! they Have to come to Europe, CharismaticDeath then we will cry together butt my tears will be of happiness mostly... sounds very fangirlish but no I just have many respect for X.

I won't take a guess at possible guitarists it is unguessable ...
 
GuitarAddict Too right. I don't care how fangirlish it sounds I would be a wreck if I saw X! Especially on the 10th anniversary of hide's death.

There are a few people I think might fill in guitar... but its only speculations.

I just love the way that no one else ever could pull of the colours that he did.

RevengeBabyYeah true. but I cry watching DVD footage... so I don't stand a chance at a live gig. I would be collapsed on the floor.

It would probably be a bit like my reaction to seeing Metallica. Me and my friend cried the second we walked into the arena... the support bands hadn't even started! We had good reason... and were on the front row at Wembly Stadium!!!
