Okay, so I'm really bad at introductions , but I will try my best to make this as painless as possible...
Hello, my name is Laura and I'm from the USA. I'm hoping to make some new friends here while at the same time learn some more about Japanese culture and politics. I've developed a deep interest over the past year in Asian (more specifically Japan and China) cultures and world affairs after taking a class on Global Issues during my past semester in school. I'm not quite sure if I will change to a major focusing on Japanese cultural studies and language (took a class in high school, but never went further), and/or world affairs, but currently I am a fine arts major.
Aside from Japanese culture and politics, I also love a lot of cinema and music that comes from the island.
I love movies, art (I like using watercolor, pen & ink, and oil pastels), and D&D (Dungeons & Dragons). I am currently an apprentice to an independant artist who does outdoor and indoor sculpture. I can't think of much more to say.
