Hi, I'm super new!!

Hello!! I'm noob-tastic... .
A little about me...
I'm an 18 year old girl living in Canada. I just started teaching myself Japanese in January. I am determined to become fluent as I want to live in Japan. I also want to learn other languages (many) and live other places around the world (many)...but that comes later. Now I just need to find a job that I can do in all these places (is teaching english the only one?).
I love anime and manga, but that is not what makes me like Japan. Everything I read about Japan just makes me want to go there more. The pictures of the land, the art (not anime), the shrines, the festivals, the shopping, the fashion, the shinkansen...most of all the people! So, yes I came on here to find other people who are learning Japanese and want to correspond maybe. But also just came to meet all the friendly people on the forum!!

As far as I know a degree is needed for the japanese emigration services. And I'm guessing you can work wherever you want, you just need to be fluent on japanese.

But again, I've never been on japan and much less working there, this is only what i understood of all the thousands of threads relating the same issue. Perhaps some more experienced users can correct or confirm my information.
