HI iam new to all this fourm stuff but i was wondering if u guys could give me some suggestions on anime series to watch i just strated watching anime and its kinda kool, i just thought since it said japan forum maybe u guys could help me out thanx i really appericate it

violent?

I think you should start of with something like Trigun ..
It's a half western action shootout thing, and hilarious ..

Rurouni Kenshin should defenetily be on your beginer's list. Also cowboy bebop, and like it was said Trigun.

:win: cowboy bebop, trigun, evangelion, kiddy grade, love hina, chobits thats for series :win: for movies akira, princess mononoke, grave of the fireflies, ghost in the shell, perfect blue, ninja scroll those are some good ones

hmmm, i wouldn't say something long like Inuyasha (over 150 eps) i quite like Angelic Layer and Fruits basket, FB was the first one i ever saw. Very good though kinda dark in places that one, Angelic Layer is more easy going and has some really funny people in it *cough Icchan cough*

I hope you don't mind me imposing on this but i also was going to put up a thread asking about anime, although i've been watching anime for a while i don't know that many, anyone know any good romance ones? Any like Ceres (which i'm getting next month!!!!!!!!!!)
