hey, i am a 26 year old american male. I am looking to find information on Japan. I am very interested in living in Japan. For instance what part of Japan would be most suited for an american, or does it matter.
i would really like to make some friends here and find out more about Japan. Looking forward to hearing from anyone, american or japanese.

I hope you enjoy the forum, jeremi, and post when you can in the areas that interest you.

It doesn't matter about where in Japan you wish to stay from this side, but it might from that side--in other words, choose a place that you think you'd be comfortable with, country side or urban or downtown.

Can you speak a little Japanese? That is always a great and very important place to begin--even if you don't end up needing it that much.
