I agree, Miss apollo. At least it's real people in the 'real' porn. You know, the people are actually tangible. Hentai is just drawn. I think some people are under the delusion that they can actually make it with anime girls... :eek:

Besides, I think all this violent anime(hentai included, of course) is the Japanese way of venting. I think they take all of their pressure and put it on screen. I think it's mostly vented frustrations.

this is very true. the deffinitive "law" in japan, is that genatalia are not to be seen in print or on the screen. this is the case when you see a hentei manga or anime, all genatalia are censored. i think this law has been twisted around several times. and may have been revised, at least that was the law a few years back. we used to run a tape-trading club in dallas tx. and my buddy hiroki would send us stuff from japan a month or so after it was released, and absolutely, the censorship came from japan, not from america.

im not interested in hentei, would rather have the real thing, but in its defense, i have watched some very compelling hentei as far as plot, and some that was absolutely beautifully animated, (from a directors standpoint), and not so grotesque. most of it is just plain silly though.
 
Well, as far as pornography is concerned, I tend to prefer hentai because the people aren't real. I can laugh my @$$ off at a fictional characher getting tentacled, but the vacant, lost look in most real porn star's eyes tends to bother me.

At least with hentai the only person being exploited is the artist. :D

Yes, I agree. In fact, I didn't know what "tentacled" meant in the anime world before I looked up the word in google. Before, in my vocabulary, the tentacles were the arms of the sea anemone. (!!!) They still are, in the world of biology and zoology, however, I now know what they mean in the anime world, and I am...shocked!!

I downloaded this hentai movie, I think it was called Bible Black or something. I didn't really like seeing cartoon's **** each other. Let's just say I prefer human sexuality instead of a cheap copy.

While there surely is a good amount of sick and depraved hentai (stuff like Urotsukidoji, which I don't like either), there's also a good amount that's at least somewhat funny (intended or not), and there's also a good amount with a nice story line.

OMG you people! I feel very ignorant, as I don't know what all these terms means; e.g. Lina mentions: "Urotsukidoji", and Mikitty mentions: "doujinshi." I had to look up the word "tentacle" too...😊

How many "kinds" of hentai exist? Is there a list??? 😊

The following is a brief list of hentai terms:

Yuri = Girl/Girl
Yaoi = Guy/Guy
Lolicon = little girls
Shotacon = little boys
Guro = Blood, death, defecation
Bukkake = I'm not sure I would be allowed to describe this one here...
bondage = If you can't guess, you're too innocent to be told what this is
tentacles = ditto
beastiality = ditto

Well, hope that answers some of your questions...

I wouldn't consider myself "innocent" just because I am not into hentai anime...

Hentai is just 2 weird. I mean is funny, a woman being raped and enjoying it, there is a good lesson for our school kids. Go in groups and grab a woman in the park, she'll ask you for more. I guess normal hentai could be acceptable, but again i think hentai mis represnts sex, you would think these women are all about to melt away literally and the echange of bodily fluids in liters is just 2 ridiculous 2 watch. Some animes however do deal with partial nudity tastefully, but I donna i mean I guess regular hentai could be watched, but the stuff with hell demons, weird aliens, or rape is a lil overboard. I mean we have to consider who watches this stuff, is prolly mostly curious kids age 14-18, not a whole lot of adults will be into cartoons smearing each others edges off, well there are expections :p

Some of the sex is really over the top - I'm always surprised to see people reading the books on a crowded subway or otherwise public place.

it's funny that Hentai originally, well still means "pervert" but i wonder if they've added an extra definition to the Japanese Dictionary
