Which part? The whole thing? Or are you just looking for
修行とはそういうもの
やめたら？

I'm not totally sure but I'd translate this as "Why don't you give up your pursuit (of knowledge)?" Or perhaps these two lines are not directly related. In this case, I'd go with:
"That's the nature of the training
Why don't you quit?"
