I bought this book second hand (along with some others of the same title), to help me improve my reading skills.
I would like to find some more information about it, but it has no ISBN number.
Could anybody please tell me what this book is for?

That's a book of a not-for-sale educational manga series published by a drug company Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Those books were donated to elementary schools all over Japan, public libraries and overseas Japanese schools by the same company.

Thank you so much! It does make sense. I bought some other books, and there are two of them that seem to me math books. I probably bought some school's old books.
