Hi, I'm hoping to get some help with a translation. This images are for a box a hanging scroll came in as well as the writing on the scroll it self with the makers mark.
The scroll is a beautiful image of galloping horses.
thank you for any assistance given!

Those are Chinese, not Japanese.

the first picture
朶雲軒
Duoyunxuan

It's the name of an antique shop in Shanghai.

second/fourth
明仇十洲秋原獵騎圖
Horseback Hunting by Qiu Ying in Ming dynasty

Qiu Ying is the name of the artist.

third
朶雲軒木版??
It's a seal of the shop. It could mean that it's a wood-block printing, i.e., not the original.

Is your scroll this one, maybe?

Oh my goodness thank you so much!!! I had such an argument with my partner saying it was Chinese not Japanese! Yes that was it! Thank you so much !

Sorry, I've just realized that I missed a word 秋原 in my translation of the title. It should be Horseback Hunting in Autumn Fields by Qiu Ying in Ming dynasty.

That is definitely the scroll I have. may I ask where that picture was from? And yes it was definitely bought from that shop, but about 40 years ago
