Help-show desktop icon

Does anybody know how to reinstate the "show desktop icon" that is in the quick start bar in Windows XP? I used to have it but deleted it by accident and can't find it anymore.

Show desktop appears to be a utility bundled with Microsoft Internet Explorer stored at
C:\Documents and Settings\**your loggon user name**\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\
If you delete it from quicklaunch, you might have deleted the only copy on your system drive.
I would suggest trying repair if you have the system repair CD.
This is as much as I could find with my search file function.

Open Notepad and paste the following:

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Save the file as Show Desktop.scf then drag and drop the icon you created on the quick launch bar or wherever you want the shortcut to appear.
