Konnichiwa seroni-san!
I think this poem was made to be based on a poem originally written by Saigyo, a poet from the
Kamakura period.
The rightmost column represents the title.
Aki Fukaki Sankou:Autumn mountain hiking
The following is the text of the poem.
Shirubeno:signpost
Tatenureba:set it up
Kawarasuya:don't get lost
The text up to this point is the same as the original. However, the last two lines are different.
The original text is only one line long.
Hana no Ato made:to the traces of flowers
However, the poem on the hanging scroll has two lines at the end. I cannot decipher this part either.
The text on the very last line is the author's signature.
I apologize for the incomplete translation.
