Hi. I'm new to the forum.

I've decided to register because I started a project to improve my Japanese language skills. This project consists of making transcripts of movies or anime. I finished my first one and wanted to ask for help to make the necessary corrections.

Unfortunately I've come across a problem: I wanted to post a link to the audio and the scripts but it didn't let me! It said I didn't have enough posts...? How many do I need? I don't want to just post for the heck of it. I just need some feedback on my scripts...

Welcome to Jref and good luck with your Japanese. As for how many posts you need I'm really not sure. You should check out the threads. Maybe you'll find some topics you like and you'll have enough posts in no time.

Welcome !! From the heart of Japan. There are the forum rules which will explain why a certain number of posts will be needed before doing such as that (at least I recall that such explanation is given...but could have misremembered).

I do hope you spend some time here, even, working on your Japanese ability--there is a place for it, you know, on the proper sub-forum for such. I would hope, I will have to admit, that you have come here for more than just getting someone to proof-read what you have done, and that you have the intention of spending some time here--at least for now. Yes, definitely. My intention wasn't just to get someone to help me correct my script. I wanted to share it with everyone.

I didn't want to sound like it's all that matters to me, although I'm a very busy person and I wouldn't really come here to socialize. My intention is to get help with my Japanese, while helping others do the same.

Someone in another forum already helped me make the necessary corrections to my script, and I've just finished uploading the clip with the subtitles (kanji, romaji and English). I don't know if me sharing them with everyone would be welcomed or frowned upon though.

What is your advice?

Apologies for getting back late. I would simply say that you are of course free to present your text once you have gotten enough posts to do such a thing (or whatever). In the event that no rules are overly bent, it will probably stay. Depending on other factors, some number (more or less) will read it and make comments on it. Your choice. I personally would hope that you will have come here for more than just that reason alone, however.
