Hi all,

I am here to learn Japanese, know more about Japan, its culture, history and everyday life. And also to make new friends
I am looking for Japanese partners, with whom I can exchange emails, discuss different Japan-related topics and practice Japanese (letters, emails, Skype etc.).

Briefly about myself...
I am 33 years old. I live in Israel for 17.5 years and work as a software engineer. I am married and have a small daugher (soon 3 years old). Before that I lived in Odessa, Ukraine - the city I love very much.

I've been learning Japanese for about 2 years (self-learning with a book), but my Japanese is still very bad.
I can help with Russian and Hebrew. We can practice English together (here also I have much to improve). Also I am a fan of Esperanto.

Welcome to JREF !! I am certain you will find what you are looking for here...we got Japan and things Japanese on the radar !! Please take your time, get to know us, and then join in any discussion your heart leads you to.

I all but lost my Russian...orchen mala...and my Hebrew is only classic (and even then, I'm so slow with it and all) but my English is fair enough...I think... and I can hold my own, most of the time in Japanese...so I'll do what I can to help too. I started uploading photos that I took when I went to a business trip to Japan. I took about 1,000 photos of Tokyo and Kyoto . So far I uploaded 25 pictures.
It was in October 2005.
