Hi there!

My (soon-to-be) husband and I are taking a honeymoon to Tokyo in mid-April, and I joined this forum a few days ago to start learning about proprieties/customs, issues people have run into that we can avoid, restaurants/places to go, etc. etc., while we are there.

We are both artists in the video game industry, so we are very excited to go to Akihabara, as well.

I am teaching myself the most basic of Japanese via Pimsleur, which so far has been great! I want to be competent enough to order food by the time we get there... I'm a big foodie, and I can't wait to try all sorts of new and delicious things!

We are both very excited about our trip.

Thank you! I am excited about both, but I'm sure that I will be so tired after the wedding that I'll actually be looking forward to the 12+ hour plane ride!
