Have you ever stuck in Japan before?

Has any of you traveled Japan and got stuck in Japan because you missed a return airplane and decide to stay in Japan?

Never, i always take my luggage one day early late at night. Take my luggage and put it at a holding station or a coin locker 500 yen. Cant afford to miss a flight..

That sounds irresponsible and also like a bad idea. If you get sideways with immigration by "deciding to stay in Japan" it'll be your last trip there for a while.
