Hmmmmm good point and I do that but again and again, the pigs get in my face simply because I have white skin. If you see the original complaints I related to here and then for the episode on the bicycle to happen.... I only have so much patience?

If the Slavic police get in people's faces merely due to the color of their skin, I can only denounce them for that. What else isn't clear?

Discrimination isn't only for color of skin...it's not the police that makes the problem with discrimination...at least here...

uhm...I don't watch football championship...so I have no idea who won with Germany.

I know that but in my case vis-a-vis the Japanese police, I get hassled because of the color of my skin.

Serbia beat Germany. We could almost call the Serbs, the second most powerful of all the Slavic tribes, no? They are not great in number but they are strong.
 
I would like to ask something I have heard before. What do the Japanese, in general, think of people from Middle-Eastern / Indian / etc. descent? I think FrustratedDave knows where I am going in life regarding my profession and it would be a damn shame if I encountered plain racism in Japan. They have an emerging market...
 

I really don't know. I am a white guy from northern Europe but I know one black guy from the UK who absolutely hates the pigs here. Even more than me! I have never gone into details as to why he hates them so (usually I am just laughing while he is denouncing them in very colorful language) but I know once they picked him out for interrogation when he walked out of a fast food restaurant.

BTW Perhaps "Frustrated Dave" isn't the best guy to be getting career advice from.... I mean, the guy can't find a job himself.

Aside from that, may I ask in what industry Japan is an emerging market?

Putrefaction, if you learn the language , you won't have a problem. And being polite goes a long way in any culture.

Only those idiots who go looking for trouble will find it.

On a less serious note , Police have a nack of picking those people who are imbeciles, especially those who ride bicycles. Most of the Police here will usually hide behind a tree or something like that then when they find those who are imbeciles they jump middle of the footpath waving their arms and pointing. They are pretty good at reading who is an imbecile even when there are 3 or more people in the same place on bicycles.

Rofl. But they're not.
They just got lucky against Germany, that's all. Even though, I support them, I say, you're wrong about them 'almost' being the second most powerful of all the Slavic tribes. They have a big support of the Russia, but, that does NOT make them powerful.
 

If you are a Slav or Norska my skin is the same color as yours.

Excuse me but I like Slavic music and literature (Not to mention the beer and vodka.....) very much and know a little about the Slavs. Even if the Russians, Ukrainians and Bjelorussians are counted as separate tribes, I don't think there is any doubt the Serbs are the next strongest after the Russians. At least, that is what history tells us. I know Tito was a Croat but 80% of his fighters were Serbs.

No insult to the other Slavic tribes intended......... but if you disagree perhaps you could nominate which tribe in your opinion is second strongest.

So who in your opinion is second strongest? I know German fascists and other lackeys of the capitalists are in no doubt the Serbs are second after the Russians.

I don't mean to insult other Slavs. They are generally very easy to get along with but when it comes to "giving up" they are pretty much the same as other ethnic groups as far as I know but if I am wrong, i am willing to stand corrected.

In 1942 Russians were about 1500km away but all that meant to the Serbs was time to step up the resistance.

Yeah, that is the only way to make him go away. He is fun to ridicule for a while, as he continues to make a bigger and bigger *** of himself, but pretty soon he just gets annoying. So, ignore him and hopefully he will disappear for another couple of months.

Hmmmm well sweeping generalizations are ok when talking about entire Slavic nations No but seriously, it may be a generalization but that was the purpose. I know a lot of Poles, Croats, Czechs and etc are very strong but to generalize, in my opinion Serbs are second strongest. I certainly don't mean to insult any other Slavs.

Insofar as the Japanese police, I have stated repeatedly that I know not all of them are racist, fascist pigs but I haven't seen, heard or experienced anything to suggest that the organization as a whole isn't a racist, fascist organization. I could be wrong. There may only a lot of racist, fascist pigs who are tolerated within the organization. As I said previously, those rights a foreigner has when dealing with police show that someone higher up has seen the problem and sought to do something about it.

Yet you yourself keep replying to me even when I keep ignoring you...... Not too bright, are you?

Yes, that is why they NEVER won any war, even though they had Great Russia behind them, and the rest of the World on their side. Hell, they were under Ottoman (Turkish) rule for centuries. Other countries stopped the invasion of Turks into Europe, they got conquered.
They got owned every single time.

Well you are leaving out some details there. Some European countries were actually supporting the Ottomans for long periods if doing anything at all. They still bled the Ottomans white and and prevented them from venturing any further into Europe. Russia was only offering moral support but little more other than providing passage to Cossacks.

Then of course with over 5 million fascist soldiers and about 1500km between them and Soviet armies and the rest of Europe either rolled over or having swum for their lives rather than fight, what did your man Tito and his bands of Serb Partizans do? Correct me if I am wrong but the Soviets didn't fight any large battles in Serbia. Mostly only supply divisions and army doctors went through because the Partizans took care of the fascists themselves.

Recently NATO learned (at least those) lessons and resorted to the terror bombing of civilians to gain (partial) control of Kosovo rather than fight Serb military units.

Serbs aren't numerous enough to defeat large empires such as the Ottomans, Nazis or NATO but they can be counted on to resist the invaders and in my humble opinion, that makes them strong.

LOL don't be a difficult Slav. All you have to do is tell me your opinion of which is the second most powerful of all the Slavic tribes. I say it is Serbia but being a Slav, maybe you know more about it than me.

BTW please recommend some Slavic traditional music to me if you can. I already have a "mountain" of Russian so Serbian is better but Czech is still good......... That was a joke. Please don't mind my sense of humor.

BTW I heard that until very recently your Slavic friends from the mountains (Montenegro) were officially at war with Japan. When Japan (stupidly) attacked the most powerful of all the Slavic tribes, Montenegro by default declared war on Japan. Of course when the Slavs routed the 1.2 million strong Japanese fascist armies in Manchuria I hear there were over 20000 Czechs (maybe Czechoslovakians, not sure) in the ranks.

Of course Japan is not like that anymore. Fascists who once held power have been condemned to doing nothing but running around annoying people with different color skin from the native people.
