Yup.. We have it now.. If you're not Canadian.. Then.. This doesn't concern you.. Leave.. Heh.. So hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving. I had mine yesterday though.. Heh.. So no turkey today.. That's alright.. I'd rather have my ramen anyway..

I had thanksgiving dinner with my mother's side of the family

no turkeys,but we had sushis and some other stuffs,mostly seafood

We also have it, it's called "Erntedank" over here (literally: "Harvest thanks"), but it's quite insignificant nowadays.

When I was in Japan, my roommates (one Canadian, one American) and I had some people over for Thanksgiving dinner. We talked about it like we were bringing this American holiday to Japan and none of my Canadian friends ever mentioned that it's also celebrated in Canada.

We certainly don't celebrate American pilgrims or something
It's just an old holiday to say thanks for the harvest, but it is hardly celebrated anymore. I think it doesn't coincide with the US/Canadian holiday, but is sometime later... don't know much about it other than it's somewhere around this time (give or take a few weeks )

Heh.. No shame in that.. Swiss Chalet has great turkey.. But I myself had good homemade turkey. So it works either way.. Heh.
