Japan had very little interest in handball until now. It probably inspired a lot of kids to want to play handball.

I also liked seeing the warm atmosphere in which the Korean and Japanese fans cheered for their teams!

I seem to remember hearing on the news that there will be another match with Japan and Korea and at least one more country coming soon....?

I agree that Korea's national handball team is better than Japan's right now.

I'm glad that the questionable refereeing is finally being address, though. I had lost a lot of faith in the asian handball league.

When Korea makes it to the Olympics, I'll be certain to cheer for them, as it'll have been a long and winding path to get there!

Korean Women Handball team qualified to Olympics.
Unfortunately Japanese team was eliminated and can't go to Beijing. Sorry to Japanese team.
