Living in Japan is a whole interesting life experience for everybody, and many expats are enjoying the Japanese rich lifestyle. However, for Muslims, the availability of Halal food is challenging (permissible food that Muslims can eat). Checking every single product in the market and finding authenticated Halal restaurants is a very tiring process. In short, Muslims do not eat pork and do not drink alcohol. In addition, animals should be slaughtered in a certain way that is believed to be the most convenient and healthiest for animals and human consumption. Thanks

While I understand the difficulty of finding halal food in Japan, I am not sure what the purpose of your thread is. Are you looking for help or consolation? Many groups with special requirements face difficulties in environments that do not primarily cater to their needs: orthodox Jews looking for kosher ingredients or vegetarians who - fortunately - can now enjoy a wider variety of stores and restaurants in Japan than just a few years ago.

Here are some links to halal stores and restaurants. There are countless others.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate your kind answer. I found one here close by, however, many others which put Halal sign might not necessarily provide real Halal food, that's what make it more complicated. Thanks any way, I will look for the links you've provided

What area do you live in? Probably it's relatively easy to find Halal in Tokyo. In remote areas maybe difficult.
