My opinion is that Asashoryu was a better wrestler.

Yeah, I second that! Asashoryu was a freakin' beast...so strong! When him and Hakuho would go at it, he won more than he lost (at least I think so). The first sumo match I ever went to, I saw those two wrestle. Asashoryu won.
But sumo is that kind of sport where you can have an on-day one day and an off-day the next. The champions keep the on-day percentage higher.

I knew him before he went to Japan. Once I played with him street basketball. He was so strong and aggressive one.
Now I'm really proud of him. By his efforts, getting 68th Yokozuna, many Japanese got many information about our country.
