Grokipedia: does anyone use it?

Grokipedia seems to be Mr Musk's attempt at challenging Wikipedia's dominance as an internet encyclopedia. While going through Google Webmaster Tools today, I noticed we have over 1,200 backlinks from Grokipedia, mostly to our historical articles. We also have 150 precious backlinks from Wikipedia itself.

I was just wondering: has anyone ever used Grokipedia?

Had never heard of it? I'm a Google addict , sad to admit.

It seems they only launched on 27 October.




While I'll personally stick to Wikipedia, I appreciate the backlinks.

I'm an off and on supporter of wikipedia, I think their usual campaign is in June (or that's when they ask me for another donation).

I'd avoid anything musk like the plague.

I don't use any AI. Maybe glance thru google's version (gemini) in search results before moving on to one of the links below that.

I read an article recently that gemini was now better than the latest chatGPT version. Grok wasn't mentioned.

edit: Google is perhaps most likely to succeed since it has an ecosystem to complement its AI--also it's got an enormous amount of user data--gmail/docs/sheets/photos/android/etc. Similar situation for Meta (large user base to start from), and apple--great ecosystem but which doesn't seem to be moving forward much on AI. OpenAI had been trying to develop an ecosystem to support chatGPT, but they're stretched since they also have to try to maintain the AI lead while trying to both add them and sell users on those other services. Musk has twitter, and has gone on about expanding it into an "everything" app, but I hope that fails.

I support Wikipedia every year and use it extensively for our articles. I doubt we'll ever reference Grokpedia.

This is the first I ever heard of it
