Yes, I downloaded and checked it yesterday.

For some mysterious reason, it failed to install on my XP, though it did smoothly on Vista.

It is fast, but it doesn't offer the tweaks I need for high visibility and can't import the password manager from my Opera/Firefox. So far, Opera is fast enough for me!

I think I'll just play around with it until more refinements are added. 👍

Addendum: Vulnerabilities are anticipated, of course, for a beta version. And here they are already:
Early Security Issues Tarnish Google Chrome

I tried it yesterday and I honestly can't tell the difference in speed between this and Firefox.

I also need a spelling check on my browser, but no doubt they will do that in the future, since the one on Firefox and IE is from Google. Until then I stay with Firefox ^^

You actually have a in-build spell checker on Chrome.
Check the options.

I tried it today, too, and I have to say that it was pretty nice.

However, it will never replace my Firefox until the day it can block advertising and Java, etc like Firefox can with the proper plugins.

Seeing as Google makes so much of its revenue from online advertising, I am not holding my breath.

While FireFox and IE put the program name after the page name in the title bar, Chrome puts the program name first. A little insecure, are we?

Not hard to wind up with a whole bunch of "Google Chrome"s in the task bar with no way to tell them apart.
