Another great one bites the dust. For many of us older US members, we grew up with Johnny Carson and the Tonight Show. Only a young 79 and he's gone.

I missed more of his shows than not, but I liked the ones that I got.
I will surely miss him.

wow...he was just in the paper Friday talking about how he reads the paper everyday and thinks up 5 or 6 jokes right off the bat...he was actually working on a comeback with some type of new show...He will definitely be missed!

I was just telling my wife the same thing. It didn't mention any healt problems in the article. So it was a shock when I heard it today.

Being a longtime smoker with emphysema never helps....but it never showed in his case for for sure. He will be missed.

Wow! I had no idea Johnny was even sick! His death came as quite a shock to me, especially after reading that article where he was writting jokes and sending them to Letterman. Yeah, he will be missed indeed!
