Her house was right across the street from the base, so I could see into there from her balcony. Its kinda a shame that the bases take up so much of the land. Watching the car navi as we drove around you really realize how big those things are.

No the Banana Show is not located on Gate2 Street. I'm not even sure where that is near Kadena, I just know what it's about. I heard to many stories..lol. The bases hear are big, but as you go north they are a lot smaller...especially the USMC bases.

I've been living here for 9 months so far....i plan on staying a heck of a lot longer. I'm German by the way

I'm not sure SM, but just hubby told me not to be too scared of snakes in Japan, so I guess he meant mamushi....?

i've liked snakes since I first went to Australia for a holiday when I was 16. At a zoo snake show none of the guys would dare put the snake around their necks, but I did and then they HAD to so they wouldn't be shown up by a girl LOL *men*
