Godan - Ichidan switch means transitivity switch?

Hi! Is this true in general? I can't come up with any counterexamples off the top of my mind, but it seems that the transitive/intransitive counterparts of many verbs switch verb groups also. 倒れる -> 倒す, 冷える -> 冷やす, 燃える -> 燃やす, 売る -> 売れる and etc. Even if there are exceptions, this is a pretty common pattern, right? When trying to to come up with the transitive/intransitive version of the verb, is it safe to assume that the verb group would change also?

P.S. The title should really say "Transitivity switch means godan-ichidan switch?"

Yeah, the answer is no, as you already noticed. There also is another group "intransitive ~ru vs transitive ~su" other than "intransitive ~u vs transitive ~asu". These verbs are all godan.
e.g.
移る 移す
帰る 帰す
直る 直す
残る 残す
通る 通す
回る 回す

動く 動かす
沸く 沸かす
減る 減らす
照る 照らす

It can be ichidan to godan or visa versa.
