Not sure if this has been brought up yet, but what do you all think of 13's Reborn? I'm in love with it, it's so heavy and awesome. <3

I'm so falling for this band...

FINALLY!!! Just downloaded the album!!! patchwork is feckin smex!!!! that part at about 1:40 with the piano and then the guitar is just f*ckin the coolest thing ever!!!
 
haha, I love this album so badly. Every single song is so good!
barricade, patchwork and Kowarete Iku Sekai are my top favourite.
This is just a perfect album :D

hahaha sorry raiku but it really is freakin awesome!!! I think my fav's are patchwork, barricade, shining, shiroi ashiato, rockers, domino, and Kowarete Iku Sekai...but that may be give or take a song because really the album is so awesome :D

So what do you guys think? Does this self-titled album completely murder 13's Reborn, or is it on a par with it? If so, what do you think are the differences? This is addressed to all those who've listened to the album..

I'm just curious.. 😊
 
well I had a great long speech all written out and ready but my new 8 week old cat just spazzed all over my laptop (he's in the mood to play) and made the page go back lol

So to sum it up, yes I think the new album is better than 13's Reborn. I think they have grown up musically since their first album, but also "Girugamesh" is a different type of album than 13's was. Also I first discovered giru when they released the mini album Reason of Crying and didn't hear 13's until much later so I never really liked 13's Reborn as much as their newer stuff. Still an awesome album but I have a slightly biased outlook lol.

Really for me the only negative thing I could say about this album is that most of the songs are too short, it's truly an awesome awesome album!!
