Girugamesh

sorry to rant, but it really bothers me... especially when you say your favorite is D'espairsRay, which can be construed MUCH more easily as "emo" than girugamesh... and i say this as a huge D'espairsRay fan...

If you really were a huge D'espairsRay fan, then maybe you'd be able to tell that they look way more goth than they do emo. *sighs*

I was being really imature.
I'm sorry I caused all this drama.
Let me rephrase what I said:
I love Girugamesh, but In my opinion I think Satoshi's voice doesn't really fit with the music they play.

I have some of Girugamesh's music on my computer, I really like it.
To me, they remind me of a few hard rock bands from here in America.
 
Yeah I agree! Also Girugamesh remind of some American band, but I can't figure out who....
 
I know who it is.

They remind of of Chevelle.

I think it's because their sound is very post-grunge/hard rock/alt metal sounding. Now, if it wasn't for the language barrier, they'd have TONS of
fans in America by now. Then maybe I could actually see them live. :)

but i'm glad this was just a misunderstanding... all better ^_^

they sound like american bands that i cant place at the moment to me too... nad i've never heard of chevelle so i should check them out... and they were awesome at jrev ^_^ i'm glad they made new fans there, and now they definately want to return

Haha, I only think D'espairsRay are more "emo" if that means they're more 'emotional' in their music. But, I would say Giru look a tad more emo than D'espairs...D'espairs are far too vampyric to be considered any type of emo label in my opinion.
 
for giru fans, just announced Girugamesh will be releasing their second full length album which will be titled Girugamesh (i think lol) and to be released 12.26.2007!! Cant WAIT!!! :D

A new full length CD????? Yay!!! *so far my plan for buying less CD'sXD*

I only know Giru for like 1 week, but I already bought 13s reborn.....I hope to have it soon:)

I'm planning on buying this album when it comes out too! :D It's on my list of must-haves! XD

I agree with you on Satoshi's voice.. It's a bit different than other singers.. very husky and sexy! And his voice is also great LIVE!! Well.. maybe becuz he doesn't smoke.. XD

Satoshi doesn't smoke? That's so nice! Haha, I say that because I know a good majority of those Japanese rockers smoke, it's so big in Japan.

So good boy, Satoshi! Good way to preserve his sexy voice. :D
