Fine, but then you should know that Japanese can't end on an "-sh" and it should be "Girugameshu."

You can't pick and choose. It's either "Gilgamesh" or "Girugameshu."

And, yes, I've seen their logo. I'm ever so impressed by the fact that they used Romaji without first learning how it was *spelled* in Latin characters. It happens all the time.

(And before you assume someone doesn't speak Japanese, you might want to ask. I have an MA in Japanese and am a professional translator.)
 
About that it would be "Girugameshu" then, i knew.
But still, THE LOGO says it's "Girugamesh", so YOU didn't need to say "Guys? It's GiLgamesh"!!!!
Because for the Band itself and FOR THE FANS it's still GIRUGAMESH!!
So, it really was an unnecessary thing to do so.
You didn't earn anything by doing it and we didn't earn eanything too.
I don't want to fight with you about this, though.
And if you're no Girugamesh Fan, then you don't need to be here anyways. (Nobody forces you to come here)

AJBryant wow I noticed that you're soooo smart :O let's change what they call themselves :D actually we could also include Gackt's name it spells "gackt" but you know that it is pronounced as "gackto" and I think there's more Japanese artist/band names where it's writtend in one way bot pronounced a little bit differently so don't just barge into the thread with your 97 posts and no knowledge about the band and write stupid posts like that.

and back to the topic :D I'm also quite a fa of Girugamesh and I just love Robust Conviction... that song is amazing... and especially the background at the beginning :D

I want some pics of Satoshi with his black hair , the new style I have some but not much I like pics that concentrate on the face but that is not a problem just give me any pics with the new hair style and I'll do the rest so if anyone have any pics please give me some and thanks in advance
 
oh I think it doesn't matter how they write their name :eek:..as long as they create such great music I don't care about such things...I rather call them Girugamesh but I don't care how others do...I care about their music which means really much to me :-)...

and talking about being busy :( I know very well what you mean funkykitty...in the meantime I just cannot find enough time to do everything I want :( that's the reason why I saw the Brak down PV just a few minutes ago...and man...it's different !!! 😲 uhm ...I've just heard it once so I need more time to get into it...but I had to laugh :LOL: when I heard those "scratches" and Satoshi started to sing I said "I hope he's not going to rap in this" and I didn't even finish the sentence when he started to do something similar to it :LOL: at least it sounds a bit like rap to me...I mean that short part which Satoshi sings/sais ... but the song's nice...just a bit different to me...

and one more thing...Satoshi's hair is.....DELICIOUS 😍...I really love it...it suits him I think...but I think it's a waste that the others had hoods on their heads...I like to see their faces :(...but nevermind I'm being silly :D

I found the MP3 of the song Glamorouse Sky sang by Girugamesh what I know about this song that Hyde wrote it and lots of artists sang it one of them are Girugamesh it's so beautiful and I thought I can shear it with the thread

i knew that it was sang by Mika Nakashime once, but i didn't know that Hyde wrote it.

gah I absolutely love the new song/pv!! The scratching adds some cool flavor and do I detect satoshi doing a little rapping? Seriously? Damn I love it!!

I hated when ruki rapped on Stacked Rubbish but Satoshi just does it so well, it's cool!

I can't freaking wait for this album!!

that's what I love about Giru, they are constantly reinventing themselves and trying new things, this album is gonna be sick!

I'm sorry if you already have those...

and about the new album...well...the music's great...Nii's guitar is superb, Shuu's bass is a killer, Ryo's drumming is excellent and Satoshi...could I say anything wrong about him or his voice/singing? of course not.... but somehow there is something missing on this album :? I don't know what but I just can't say it's the best they've done so far...it's great though I needed more time to "get into it" but now I love it...though still I think the older stuff was a tiny bit better then this.
 
Looks can be really misleading...At first I thought they were all so sober but when I saw their DVD....maaaaaannnn, I was so wrong! They are total DORKS! hahaha.
