Getting Dressed Up ^_^

Hey,

I do not know about this site, but if you have enough money, I think any bridal salon (and there are many in Japan) can dress both of you in traditional wedding kimono, and take professional pictures. I did that and it was a great experience. I believe the price would usually be in the 30000-80000 Yen range though.

I hope this helps.

Thats pretty good. I will have to do a few more searches on the internet. I would love to be able to make the appointment before I actually get into Japan.

That's a fair price considering the service (on the website you listed). The cheapest I've seen is around 8,000 yen, but obviously you get what you pay for (fake maiko are easy to spot around Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto ). It makes for an expensive souvenir, that's for sure.

Actually, I was just thinking that most major hotels in Japan have bridal salon service, and you could actually check with them what kind of service they offer and the price. I believe they would speak English.

You can just check with the New Otani Hotel, any hotel of the Prince Hotel Chain....
