friends in Tokyo?

who here would like to be a friend? so like when i arrive in Tokyo maybe show me around the good atractions and highlights of Tokyo, not like a tourist guide but like just helping me out.

Potatoe, best thing to do is go find a Pen Pal in Tokyo, and joking about paying.. It really costs alot for regular residents of Japan to hault their life, and show you around.. So getting their transportation (trains) paid by you and things is not irregular. Just a tip, study places you want to see.. DO NOT be scared to get lost, hell thats when you have the most fun.

Anyways, hope you enjoy your stay in Japan.

Well, I think it'd just be common courtesy to offer to pay for transportation, meal(s), etc. if someone is willing to show you around. That doesn't just go for Tokyo. That should be a universal rule.

Hi Donny...I do have now a Japanese contact (MSN) who lives in Yokohana which is just 20 miles from japan and ive told him about the fact that we could be going to japan soon, and he is pretty interested.

You mean, Yokohama, which is 20 miles from Tokyo? Unless you're really talking about some Yokohana place in the ocean that's 20 miles from the shores of Japan.

i found japanese friends that talk to me in swedish..or.. well.. they do their best ^^ it's nice!

just a tip for anyone else... unless the english in their presentation is really good, don't add them on ICQ even if they've posted their icq number.. i did it and it got really awkward since her english was so poor =P it's better to give them the time they need by sending a mail ^^ i can understand it.. i wouldnt want to talk to them in real-time in japanese XD
