Fixing really bad cd scratches on games that now dont work due to scratches.

Hello i would like some help here please as when a game totally gets scratched really badly,
and can not be played any more could it be possible like for example on a PS2 title to fix it in this manner some how thinly take of a little part of that plastic cover on readable side and replace it with another cd cover readable side,
by thinly cuting of that one then sticking it to the other one as there are cds which can be bought that are like 15 cents each and look like the original ones, yes im talking about not the ones with like blue covers on readable side as with what dvd recordable disks look like or are there any other ways as i've got a few games that skip that i bought second hand with a lot of scratches and if i fix them they will work fine.

Interesting concept (for as far as i can grasp what you're actually saying here). Totally impossible though and a sheer waste of time. Even if you could seperate the layers, you'd never get it properly back together again. I mean... how? With glue? Even if you would manage, the disc would be totally unbalanced.

Get a mod-chip, download and burn the games you already paid for.

Can anyone please help i would like to know how the most effective and best way is to fix cd scratches, as im intending to own a rental store yes even Gamecube games so if anyone knows the most effective scratch removers for Gamecube PS2 Xbox games please reply,
as with my first post on this subject, as i know rental stores use the thinly cutting process and gluing it together, as i know they do it but how? and they are stable the problem with this way is not gluing, but like a thin cutter for it,
if anyone knows of a way i could cut it i could try on a recordable disk with nothing on it, which i bought for like 15 cents maybe use something sort of like what butchers use but like an automatic cutter to not like hurt yourself, im sure many are also wondering about this maybe there are low cost ways, any ideas or links of any sort, yes any links would be greatelly appreciated.thankyou.

theres a little posiblities that the scratch cd would run again! theres a cd scratch remover kit that you could buy from a pc shops or cd shops! and then try running the cd! if the cd does not run again, get a soft toothbrush and then put a little amount of toothpaste(plain toothpaste w/o any granules or scrub) and the soaked the cd on a cold water and rub the toothbrush w/ paste on the cd in circular motion!

buy a new copy of the game you cheap skate...!!!!
