Firefox extensions & Jref

Anybody noticed any weird behaviour of the Jref forum after installing FF extensions?
I installed a few extensions recently & now I run into trouble, but only here on Jref (it's the only vB forum I visit, though). All other sites seem to work fine.

Problems I noticed:
- smilies stop moving (or move veeeery slowly)
- some code in messages doesn't work (eg. can't insert a link, if I try: absolute slowdown of FF, even had to end it via Task Manager)
- tooltips don't show
- "New Posts", "Search" & other pull down menus don't work

Perhaps more issues, but didn't try everything.

I have QuickNote under suspicion but I'm not sure & before I uninstall this &/or other extensions, I wanted to ask if anyone else noticed something similar. Or does anybody know of any vB-issues with FF extensions? I searched some FF forums but didn't find anything.

ive had that happen to me a couple times, but i just restarted the computer and it worked fine again...

For me, it always starts when I visit Jref. But as long as I just read the threads, it's going quite alright (except for the smilies & that I have a constant reminder of tribalfusion in my statusbar "Transferring data from cdn1.tribalfusion.com..."). As soon as I try to post in advanced mode it goes wrong.

It seems I found the reason & solution for the trouble: it's probably this crappy tribalfusion stuff! Solution was, to edit the FF usercontent.css. Now everything seems to work fine again. Better yet, I don't get any tribalfusion ads anymore.

How can you edit this usercontent.css ?

Btw, which extension did you install that created this problem ?

The extension that conflicted with tribal fusion may have been Quicknote, but I'm not sure since I installed several extensions at once. It was easier to edit the css than to check every extension.

To edit it, you have to create it 1st, then you can add all the stuff you need or want. Here is a short explanation.
