Ever seen a bullet been split by a katana??

I've seen that episode of "Trivia"! They also use the katana to split something else, but I forgot what it was...

I once split a bullet from a .45 black powder muzzle loader pistol on the handle of a paint bucket. It drove the handle through the side of the bucket, pushing it back to about the middle and severely bending it, of course. The bullet split into two parts, each of which ripped a massive hole in the other side of the can and kept right on going. Wish I had a picture of it.

(No, I won't try to BS anyone by claiming I was aiming at the handle)

I've seen the whole thing on TV and there was no dent of course, only a scratch. God I love the 日本刀.
