I posted this yesterday on a different fora here and had it deleted for some unknown reason. Since then I found this quote from Maciamo, one of the admin here stating;

If you want to post something that is not Japan-related, do it in the Chit-chat section.

So since this is not Japan related and since I am not a member of Europedia I am reposting it here.

This is something that my brother forwarded to me, I found it to be an interesting view of how one European views Europe and in particular the US of A. At least Japan, among others, sent troops to Iraq, and quite successfully, with zero deaths, I might add.

Maybe because some of us were too critical of Europe? Or failed to show proper awe for Europe's superior people, history, and culture?

If I had known it was going to be arbitrarily and summarily swept under the cyber-rug with such incredible swiftness, I wouldn't have bothered to participate to begin with.

you have to be kidding me...there was 2 pages to this thread yesterday and it was deleted?

Without warning,.

I'm afraid I missed those posts. :-) Would have been interesting to read them.

If a thread is in the wrong subfora it has to be deleted, you know. It can't just be moved.

More heavy-handed, unprincipled adminning.

Hmmm. I was wondering where it went. Now I know.

Like I said the other day, I'd like to know where leonmarino, osias, and sukotto are. Especially after the things they said about the U.S. on this thread.

That is today's "burning" question. 😌

This subject belongs in Eupedia and you know damn well it belongs in Eupedia. If you want to post it there then do so. Quite easy, just link or join Eupedia. That was one reason for the split, because members felt that Europe was taking up too much space on the forum and Japan was becoming relagated to the background.

Inncorrect. It was moved and deleted by a mod not an admin. Do not jump to sudden conclusions just because you have had clashes with admin in the past.
This thread will now be locked instead of being deleted to try and avoid another repeat thread. If you want to post the thread put it in Eupedia

It's obvious that the former thread was looking for a conflict...i myself tried to post with a post that would me more based on actual objective thoughts and when i went bak to it i found it to be starting to spark up some conflict...it was a provocative thread and was not handled in an objective manner by many members here.....when debate goes array like that it is always grounds for deletion

I'm the one who deleted it, for you information. It was no one who had anything to do with Europe so much as it was someone who was wondering why someone who wanted nothing to do with Europe would start a thread about Europe on a forum about Japan. Sorry to everyone who participated and felt slighted by my actions; I'm the one you should be complaining about.
