Why was I getting a message read " invalid username and password " when I tried to log-onto Eupedia with ricecake ?

I have some interests in European history and cultures,like to venture there as well.

This is because you have joined JREF after the JREF-Eupedia split, so you have to register a 2nd time on Eupedia. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is not technically feasible to combine both forums' registration as they are on different domains.
