I have a simple question.
For some reason I cannot for the life of me figure out how to cleanly enter these combinations.

ティ
ディ

If I want フォ (fo) I just enter fo.
If I want dei or tei though I can't just enter those. Tei comes out as テイ。

What's the trick?

Thanks

Try "thi", "dhi".;-)

That's awesome guys thanks a lot!
I don't know why but lately I've been having to enter a lot of funky katakana words, more than usual, and it's been driving me up the wall.

Cheers!

Adding to the answers already here, li or xi should also get you the small katakana. Also works for っ (xtu) and ょ (xyo).
