I'm here in Okinawa , and just wondering if anyone on this board living in the states watches the WWE? If so, are you going to watch the PPV SummerSlam on Sunday? I would love to get a VHS copy of it if anyone is planning to watch it! I could pay you for the tape and the postage. And the tape would make it's way around the island to the troops living here also! Any takers? 🙂

my father and i watch wrestling so i might be able to talk him into it let me get back to you on that.

You mean "wrastlin'", don't you? :D

Gone are the days of Rock N' Roll Express, Road Warriors, Ric Flair, Nikita Koloff, Sting, Rick Steamboat, etc. :p

Oh the memories! :D

I was so into 'wrasslin' when I was a kid! I still watch it now every now and then just to keep up with what's happening but it's nowhere near as good as it was in the late 80s/early 90s!

We had a fancy dress day at school when I was about 6 or 7 and I went as the Big Bossman! :D With a little goatee drawn on!

lol man it shouldnt be called wrestling, its a soap opera. But its funny and well put together, maybe i will watch summerslam

Jovial we should really hang out sometime i mean we got the same tastes in everything! YOUR AWESOME!!!!! 👍 👍 👍

Well, my cousin and I used to watch wrestling all the time. I think we were the only two girls around who thought it was funny. She always liked the 'good guys'(Rock N' Roll Express) and I always liked the 'bad' guys(Road Warriors). :p

Oh, forgot another one. Magnum T.A. Even though it was very hard for my mom to admit it(since it was so 'redneck'), she thought he was hot! :D

And all of those guys had MULLETS!!!!! :p :D

:D ...mullets.

I usually wanted the bad guys to win. I think I felt sorry for them 'cos no one liked them! :D Road Warriors - legends!!

edit - I remember at school when I was around about 7 or 8 we had to write about all the things we liked. I put WWF (I still always call it that :p ) and the teacher said to me: "I didn't know you liked animals!" :D
