Do white people think Asian people are ugly and inferior?

I am walking on thin ice, even though it is colder out here than JMA forecasted --- still, I apologize up front --- because I think there is an educational value to threads like this. The world has some minds that are hard to understand and the truth is many of us automatically shut those minds out and really don't know how to get a handle on what is going on within such ways of thinking.

I'm sort of glad this thread is here because there have been some mighty fine thoughts placed within the thread and I think it sort of gives me confidence that there are some right-minded folks in the world.

I don't think I'm writing this very well, am I? I'm just glad the thread remained, that's all I mean. It's educational. Reading about people like this is one thing. Actual interaction with such types of thinking is way different.

I am an actual white person.

I think you'll find the opinion of white people varies. There are white people who think that Asian people are ugly, and there are white people who fantasize and obsess over dating asian people. And then there are large numbers of white people who don't have any special feelings towards Asian people's appearance at all.

What is your goal in asking this question? I'm sorry to be cynical, but my first interpretation is that you have a bit of a fetish for the specific kind of self humiliation, and it feels like you're asking other people to participate in that under the guise of some sort of language or culture question. I make no moral judgment about people's fetishes, but you should be honest and not attempt to get other people to participate unknowingly.

Yeah, I guess I should have read all the replies and just withheld my own. I'm not as cynical as I think, because I completely overlooked the idea that this person could be trolling for racist opinions just to stir up trouble. Ugh.

Its a very consistent blind spot among serious-minded people....the idea that some people cannot be serious about anything other than seriously trying to destroy everything they touch. And that blind spot is why trolls keep winning.....along with the fact its often hard to sort unpleasant truth from troll filth.

When I read the OP, it was like I was whisked away into the 1920s. No honey OP, we don't think of Asian people as ugly, and inferior. We think of people as a whole now. We are Earthlings, that is our race. Only when the fallen angels (God's prior creations, thought of as UFO, but actually demons) come from above will you understand. If these other humans were inferior, how could we breed with them and have children? Are we backwards compatible like USB 3.0 to 2.0? I doubt it, we are the same species : HUMAN.

Another minor point is that a portion of us here married a Japanese person.
