Do companies offer Co-op's in Japan?

I am a 3rd year student in the IS department at RIT and to graduate I need 2 semesters worth of Co-ops. I'm very interested in going to Japan and seeing what its like. Does anyone know if any Japanese companies offer CO-op's to non Japanese speaking people? Or know where I could go to find out information on this subject? Thanks.

Asking through your university would be the first step. Non-Japanese speakers tend to stick to the eikawa-ring, adverts asking for people in other areas (IT in your case) normally require the applicant to have a certain level of japanese to be able to work.
