Divine Voltaire

please help me uncover this band! They are an indie visual kei band, ok backstory on why I want to find them! I was searching around on vk.gy and found them somehow, I think I was carelessly clicking around and accidentally clicked on them. The band sounded cool and all so I looked them up and did all my research as possible on them, but there's barely any information on them. I found an article on this site and that article is the main reason why I'm writing this, all I know is that they have/had a website, some sort of tapes and a few low quality pictures of them, I did some background research on the people on the thread yet they were last active wayy behind this time, if anyone has any info I'd be so happy to know!

The only reference I could find was a forum post from 2010 on a site called Monochrome Heaven¹, where someone asked the same question as you. Unfortunately, no one replied to that post and the thread was closed. The original poster also mentioned that they had a website, but the link is broken and the domain is expired. I tried to use the Wayback Machine² to see if there was any archived version of the site, but I could not find any. The only thing I could see was a low-quality logo of the band and a message saying \"Coming Soon\".

I'm sorry I could not be more helpful. It seems that Divine Voltaire is a mystery that remains unsolved. Maybe they were a very underground band that only released a few tapes and never gained much popularity. Maybe they changed their name or disbanded after a short time. Maybe they were just a hoax or a prank. I don't know the answer, and I don't think anyone else does either. If you ever find out more about them, please let me know. I'm curious too.

Hah thanks! Thankfully I reached out on the vk.gy discord and actually got a poster of them and a photo of a live! There's a also another website I found with them on it, since I'm at school this is quite risky to send lmao, but I'll definitely reach out if I pretty much uncover the full info. I doubt they'd be a prank band since the other thread on this website said some stuff, I'll search around vk.gy some more just in case I can find proof for a name change! I'm currently also searching on monochrome heaven, the amount of threads is killing me trying to get through them
