I agree. It's not pop... and I also agree with what you say about the 'old' rock is now considered pop... I classify a lot of bands I hear as 'rock' that are classified as 'pop' from mainstream generals... But Kogoeru Yoru ni Saita Hana single (from what I have heard so far) is not pop... it is clearly rock to me... Sorry if I'm only repeating what others before me had previously stated.Coshh said:Really?!No way is it 'pop'!
I mean - not only is it hard to tell just from a clip, anyway - it might not be as heavy as their previous stuff, but come on! it's still decidedly 'rock'.
Maybe it's just me getting old.It seems like a lot of the stuff that would have been 'rock' when I was at school is now classified as 'pop', and some of the stuff that was 'metal' has been kind of 'down-graded' to 'rock'. I'm getting soft in the ears...
But I still think this is rock!
Anyway, who cares as long as it's a good song.I think it sounds good so far!

IMO the bass was more prominent in earlier D'espa songs... I think that's been said somewhere on this thread ... I still love all their stuff though
Thanks Norm for the link, I will go listen as soon as I can!
Thor, you play bass? :?
There are quite a few bassists on j-ref, it seems.
Well, at least 2 already, anyway!
We need to form a j-ref band...![]()
