This Jdorama is really funny, i have been watching it a bit in japan, but yeah, i cant understand japanese very well, so i was happy to find the torrent from it.. any of you guys have seen it? what do you think about it?


Synopsis
Adapted from the best selling book "Train Man," this is the true life story of a geeky young man's romance with a beautiful young lady. The book is based on actual messages posted on a huge internet discussion board in Japan. A million internet users followed the Train Man's romance, giving him advices on how to impress the girl and take her out on dates. Train Man belongs in the so-called "Akiba-kei" category: a term that describes nerdy looking men who hang out at Akihabara (the famous electronics area in Tokyo) all day, who are obsessed with video games and computers.

Just finished watching the series the other day, lucky thing the final ep came out before my home internet connection got cut off
Still need to watch the extension episode coming out on i think the 6th of October.

The story i think is a bit boring sometimes, also not used to seeing guy's cry all the time so that got kind of annoying.
Although lots of funny sub-characters, i think they were more interesting to watch than the main characters, such as Jinkama, Sakurai, Hanshin Tiger Otaku.

plus i cannot vouch for their validity as i have never used them
maybe anime suki would be easiest

Check the subtitles section in their forums, they have .srt files for the raw video files.

If you dont have a media program that sorts out sub files then you might wanna download a video player called VLC Player, and then you can manually load the subs via drop down tabs. (Also make sure the sub files and video is in the same folder)

he was still too wimpy (but realistic)
ending was interesting -- have to watch the series now just to see if it matches

I wanted to watch the movie, may have to get my friend to download it for me, but one thing that put me off slightly is the actor/actress arent the same people.

Watched the ' another final episode' the other day which is quite a nice end to the series, dont wanna give too much away to those who havent seen it so i wont spoil it.

I watched it at the last 3 weeks ago. I like it, it's fantastic. One of the funniest I ever seen in my life. Fortunatelly I managed to watch it with subs, because I'm not good in japanese.

I really like this story. Often it is painful to watch because of what densha otoko is going through. Sometimes someone does something bad to him, and sometimes . . . well, sometimes he just creates his own problems. I can only imagine how his friends felt when talking him through his struggles!!!
But, in the end, I feel really good about the story (even if many liberties were taken with what really happened to create a marketable dorama). Why? Because densha otoko kept trying with a sincere heart, and many people chose to be helpful instead of mocking him. It isn't much like how the world around me seems to be most of the time, but it does seem like how I would want to try and make the world around me become . . . ne?

And I just finished watching the tv series today. Awesome series. I liked the ending song a lot; it's got a really nice tune to it. I wonder where I can download it...
