Credit card charging

I'm' selling an item on the Internet and this guy wants to pay me with he's credit card.

How can you pull this off? I'm not a company.

This is what he said: "hope you can charge my card directly by
merchant account machine"

So anyone can help me out? I don't want to loose this deal.

Use paypal. Goto paypal.com and setup an account.

I don't have a credit card and in my first reply I said " Like paypal?" and he told me no charge my credit card. This isn't the first guy to tell me this. I already went to my bank and told them about it and they said only companies can do so.

I'll tell him send me a check or forget it

I THINK UPS & SIMILER OUTFITS....

will deliver a package and collect the money right then and send you a check. A money order or bank draft would be safer than a personal check that might bounce. Good Luck !!
