Can I get help translating this?

もぅ４年・・・もぅ１年もぅ１年と私には伸ばしていく勇気とこの仕事への希望が持てませんでした。

Here's what I've got so far:


4 years... lengthening my stay 1 year at a time in this job line is something I never wished for.
 

I see what you have there as:

already 4 years . . . 'another year, another year'. . . I had neither the courage (?)(勇気) to keep extending my stay like that nor any hopes for this job any longer.

"Rebellious" seems like an odd description for a shop name, but I guess it depends on the context. Other than that, I might change "was just saying" to "just said", but it seems pretty good.

(1) "Menkyo kaiden" means you have been granted the secret of the art or tradition from the master.

(2) "Ashita ga ashita no kaze ga fuku" means "Wind of tomorrow will blow tomorrow," i.e., "que sera, sera!"

(3) "Torihada ga tatte shimatta" literally means "I'm getting goose pimples." "Ew, I'm going to get sick" can be a valid translation, depending on the situation. I don't know the exact situation in which it is used, so you can decide for yourself!

"Because, machines should kill machines. I pray that hatred calls hatred." The second sentence is a guess, because the original is a bit ambiguous to me. Also, I'm not entirely sure what nuance だからだ has at the beginning of an utterance.

I'll use your translation for the first part. "Don't waste time. If you only make good use of it now, there will be a way to do it." I don't know what らす is. :?

I think this is may be more like "All we need is machine to machine killing" "Let's hope hatred increases hatred" or something along those lines ? With all these ellipses and difficultly of establishing any order, I also doubt the "dakara da" coming at the beginning.

Glenn's translation is OK. It is a famous line from a "rokyoku" narrative, said in the narrative by the legendary yakuza of old, Kunisada Chuji.

だからだ……機械同士、殺しあえばいい。憎しみが憎し みを呼ぶように……。
"Which is why....you should have machines kill machines. 憎しみが憎しみを呼ぶように……。"
Your translation is OK. "As hatred breeds hatred" is the translation for the last part.

手間をらすな……生かしておくだけならば……やりよう はあるのだぞ。
"Don't waste time...生かしておくだけならば……やりようはあるの・ ｾぞ。
I think the first part is "tema wo TOrasuna."
Don't waste my/your time (depending on context). There is a way, if you just want it/he/she/they alive.
 
Sorry for the mistakes I'm making when I'm in a rush.

The line comes from "kodan" narrative either on Okubo Hikozaemon or the adventures of the yakuza "family" of Shimizu-no-Jirocho (Jirocho of Shimizu). I confused another yakuza Kunisada Chuji with Mori-no-Ishimatsu of the Jirocho Family.

Just a quick translation confirm request this time:

Are those decent?
 
"Haitsukubaru" means to crawl, so the sentence means "I shall have you crawling under my feet."

The second one means "That's why I thought I saw the scenery before!" (The wording may be revised depending on context.)

In the first sentence, the difference is minimal, so your translation can be regarded valid if it sounds more realistic in the dialogue.

Looks OK to me - except that 成敗 is a bit tricky.

I think flanks are firmed up or strengthened not tightened.
 
I think your translation is OK--just add Paul's suggestion.

As for 成敗, it certainly means "defeat," but with the connotation of justice being administered, "punishing for evildoing."

The first translation is OK, as long as you understand this:
貧相 is skinny also but suggests an absence of strength, beauty and/or vitality.
図体 is a reference to large physical size, used negatively.

The second means: You're going to pay for drawing the sword toward me--with your own blood. (Literally, "you will receive retribution with your own blood, for pointing the sword toward me.")

Elizabeth's suggestion is OK for the third one, I think.

Thanks, Epigene-san. That explains both "motte" and the "ukettemorau" modifying 報い. I was concerned about them, but didn't have a ready solution.
